EXAMINATIONS
Tests chosen for your situation.
You do not need every test. The appropriate examination depends on your symptoms and the consultation.
Nerves & muscles
Nerve conduction studies and electromyography (EMG) assess peripheral nerve and muscle function.
Brain electrical activity
Electroencephalography (EEG) may help evaluate suspected seizures or repeated episodes of altered awareness.
Blood vessels
Carotid ultrasound and transcranial Doppler (TCD) assess selected aspects of blood vessels and blood flow.
Balance, autonomic & memory assessments
Testing options include vestibular, autonomic and cognitive assessments. Please check language requirements and preparation before booking.
